The Research
We want to help fund the building of houses for poor people in Cambodia, but we don’t want to rush in with good intentions and no understanding of the region. In the long term, that kind of blinkered approach could do more harm than good. Instead, we’ve been talking to an organisation called Tabitha Cambodia, regional experts who already have a number of great initiatives in place.
Mark Falzon has visited Tabitha Cambodia personally, to satisfy himself that the work they do is both effective and above-board. For just AUD$1,200 they can, and do, build houses for Cambodians in need.
