Why Cambodia?

Cambodia has been abused for so long by so many. It’s not the only country to have experienced such brutality, of course, but we’ve done our homework and there are a couple of compelling reasons for concentrating our efforts there.

1. We can actually make a difference in Cambodia at this price level (AUD$1,200). It could cost two or three times this amount in many other developing nations.
2. We have identified Tabitha Cambodia as an organization with excellent local knowledge. Mark Falzon has personally made the journey to Cambodia to investigate Tabitha’s existing programs. He has extremely impressed with their work.

This does not mean we don’t want to take the Buy One Build One Free program into other countries, it just means we want to take small – and realistic – first steps.
